CasualOn the casual front, fashion has taken on a feminine, soft feel with lots of gorgeous cotton, linen, bamboo and uniquely blended fibres. Colour is fresh and delectable, including summer brights of Melon, Green Apple, Strawberry, Cobalt Blue, Kingfisher and Mandarin. These are toned down with classic shades of Oat, Aubergine, River Stone Grey and traditional Black and White.
Key Pieces to look out for: We’re pleased to say that the fab ¾ length we all loved last season is showing even stronger for spring/summer. We’ve done a wonderful range including long line shirts in cotton and stripe shirting, soft tulle coats, tunic styles in fine knits and meshes, and the perfect summer throw over in a floaty sheer chiffon tunic with sling back ties. Another key piece to look out for is the KOOKY Cotton Tee in 5 gorgeous new season colours. This is due to the fabulous response we had to the KOOKY Cotton Tee last summer in Black and White. Opt for a classic plain tee or a gorgeous bit of satin zigzagging and embroidery. The success of these tees is due to the development of an ‘extra long cotton fibre’. A long fibre means your tee won’t pill or rub, it’ll wash beautifully without twisting or losing shape and we can personally vouch for the fact that it’ll look good as new even if you thrash it all summer long – ask any KOOKY stylist, we’re all living in them! KOOKY’s famous panelled tunic is available in many new prints and stripes with a variety of necklines including draped, scooped and, of course, the classic ‘V’ neck. Mix and match these with denim crops subtly embroidered or over dyed in hot new season shades or the new ‘mini crop’ length which comes just past the knee.
