My design team and I have never had a more beautiful, casual winter colour palate to work with. Cool winter days will become injected with warm, deep tones of fuchsia, brilliant kingfisher, vibrant cobalt blue, mossy greens and winter red. Then we have the comfort shades of wild oat, winter grey, warm charcoals, fresh winter white, cocoa and French navy.

Natural fibres spun in unique ways provide the texture for the season. Chunky, loose knit, soft Merino’s, flat yarn Cottons and long fibre Cottons, Silk gauze trimming and Wool blends are among the finest of luxury fibres you’ll find at KOOKY this season.

Key pieces to look out for this Winter:

Top of the list (and my personal favourite) is our pure Cotton, ¾ length, knit coat. This is knitted from a flat cotton ‘tape yarn’ which provides a luxurious warm texture and beautiful drape and is cut with a high shawl collar and appliquéd with pure silk trimming. If you’re sensitive to wool your going to LOVE this coat.

While on the Cotton front, last summer our ‘KOOKY Cotton Tees’ were a huge success, so we’ve done a long sleeve version for winter. Opt for a classic plain Tee or the ‘Cotton Wishing Tee’ printed with a dandelion flower, or the ‘Cotton ‘K’ Tee’ printed with an ‘etching’ effect and embroidered with clear, shiny sequins. With 7 new season shades to chose from there’s plenty to select from. For those of you who are yet to try a ‘KOOKY Cotton Tee’, the reason these are so popular is due to the development of an ‘extra long cotton fibre’. A long fibre means your tee won’t pill or rub and it will wash beautifully without twisting or losing shape.

The big look in Merino this season is ‘chunky’! KOOKY’s long fibre Merino collection offers a ¾ length, chunky jerkin with a stand collar, leather buttons and wide cables that run vertically down the body, so slimming, and a luxurious Merino cowl neck jersey that comes down well past your bottom. We’ve also done a ¾ length Merino Crochet Jersey. The crochet effect creates a vertical stripe that runs slimly down the body and has a soft draping neckline controlled with crystal heart pins.

The fab ¾ length is strong again this season. We’ve done an exciting range including 2 tanks (perfect thrown over a ‘Merino Turtle’ or ‘KOOKY Winter Cotton Tee’). Plus several ¾ tunics, an open mesh knit coat and a stunning, fully lined, tailored coat with overlapping lapels and deluxe satin lining. Plus many more gorgeous ¾ length designs!
