Special Occasion

Designing the Special Occasion range is always a treat as you get to work with such luxurious, expensive fabrics. This season you’ll find mesh laces printed with copper and silver foil details and vertically crushed for that slim line. Printed knits are soft with divine drape and floral arrangements dominate. Stretch, shiny bengalines in jewel shades are rich in texture and colour and shot with black to create deeper tones.

The ¾ length is strong on the Special Occasion front also. A personal favourite of mine is a tank cut from a fine, open mesh that has been appliquéd in twisted ribbons and printed in midnight roses of silver, winter white and wild oat shades and lined in black tulle. This is heavenly worn with our KOOKY tulle separates for any special occasion but also easily converted to a casual look worn over a ‘KOOKY Cotton Tee’ or Merino Turtle. Other ¾ looks include a soft jersey knit draped bell coat with matching bell shape skirt and a metallic crushed coat trimmed in tan leather and fully lined in tulle.

Two piece soft knit suits with layers of tulle in clever winter colour combos, semi tailored jackets cut from rich fabrics, draped necklines with jetted rhinestone buttons and asymmetric hem lines are some of the celestial looks you’ll find this season.
